The art of crocheting

So I started crocheting about a month ago and I really like it and i learned it pretty quickly (thats probably why I like it) but so far I have made a lot of hats and some flowers and am currently working on a crystal motif scarf and some leg warmers. But my grandma got me a new magazine with a bunch of patterns I cant wait to try out, Im actually going to be making a bag as my after Christmas/ New Years project. but I really want to get to the level where I can make amigurumi, or crocheted stuffed animals and then maybe be able to make my own patterns someday, now that would be really cool. But I would also like to work on making an afghan sometime because it would be a much bigger project.
